In October of 2021 I was given the opportunity to craft a 30 minute mix for Rene LaVice’s pivotal drum and bass mix show on the UK’s legendary BBC Radio 1. Somewhat unlike my other mixes I decided to take this one in a deep future funk direction with much less emphasis on dancefloor tunes. The final product was hopefully something that sounded good on the radio and also appealed to a wide variety of forward thinking listeners.
